HOW TO AVOID CAREER ANXIETY.

Fear and anxiety can hold us back in our careers!

None of us want to do things that result in these feelings, but often it's necessary in order to achieve what we want.

Perhaps you want to start your own business, become an accomplished interviewee, totally change career, go for a promotion or move into a more challenging leadership role.

Anything with which we are not routinely familiar can make us feel anxious or fearful.

In turn this can stop us from gaining the prize we seek! The solution?

1: Focus not on the journey, but on the desired destination.
2: Keep the following nouns top of mind - rehearsal, innovation, persistence, practice and repetition.
3: Do the following verbs on a daily basis - rehearse, innovate, persist, practise and repeat.

Do you have any additional thoughts that can help people overcome career anxiety?
