Summary

I have an economics degree from Cambridge and over 20 years institutional investment experience with Allianz Insurance plc. At Allianz, I managed the UK Equity Life fund worth over £150m and the company's UK equity exposure. The UK Equity Life fund beat the Allshare bechmark in 10 years out of 11 up until 2006, making it a consistent top quartile performer against the peer group. More recently, I have passed the Investment Advice Diploma level 4 and am fully RDR compliant to advise retail clients, making me an Associate member of the CISI. I am very keen to offer our discretionary and advisory Investment management service to private and corporate clients as part of WH Ireland's Investment/ wealth management and Financial Advice offering.

Expertise

During my time at Allianz, I was the senior UK Equity Fund manager and also part of the Investment Committee, making asset allocation decisions between government and corporate bonds, equities, property, investment collectives and cash. My knowledge of these Investment categories has been further cemented by passing the IAD level 4 exams in Securities, Investment, Risk and taxation and FSA regulation and professional integrity.
