Quick Simple Illustration;
Your company ROI from the sales of widgets last year was £100k.
Before realising any profits you need to deduct
Cost of Sales (salaries, marketing etc), say £50k
Fixed costs (utilities, IT, comms, energy etc), lets say £40k
Deduct these costs from from your hard earned £100k and you made £10k before tax
The board want more growth, more profit. Sales and marketing are flat out without further investment in staff and marketing.
You offer a different view….
If we save 10% off our fixed costs (which the nice man guarantees he can do on a No Win No Fee basis) our fixed costs come down to £36k.
So now, even if sales stay the same, our costs are down to £86k
Deduct £86k from £100k and our profit has now increased to £14k, a 40% net increase in profit. Before Tax.
You are now The Man..
