Unfair Myths #226: The Peter Principle - that a person will be promoted to the level of their incompetence.
The truth is, many small and busy companies can't always give new managers the support they need to develop in their role; while management training can be drawn out and expensive.
Wouldn't it be useful to have your new manager learn some key skills and gain tools they can use to make their teams more effective, while feeling valued by you and all at small cost and minimum downtime?
I'm looking at delivering a one day course in team leading for people who have been great as team players and now find themselves promoted to a leader role (or who are headed that way). The course would probably be early December, but there are a lot of excellent venues over a massive geographical area.
What location would suit you and your staff? Whether a specific venue or just a town / district.
Thanks.
