Increased positive cases linked to increased number of tests?
The media are having a field day with COVID-19 scare tactics at the moment in the UK.
No media outlet is currently assessing the number of confirmed positive COVID cases vs. the ability for rapid testing.
When there were only 1,000 tests per day being administered, the number of positive cases remained capped to this capacity. Now there are over 100,000 tests per day being rolled out, there will (of course) be a 'spike' in COVID positive cases confirmed.
Lesson: Critical analysis of the information and information source can help to better understand the risk to your business.
