Going the extra mile.
We all know what "Go the extra mile" means: to do more than is required in any given circumstance. But do we put this idiom into practice in our own lives, in our careers?
Can you imagine how you would feel if you overheard someone at work say to a colleague, "I really like working with her; she always goes the extra mile" and then you realise the "she" is you!
