Summary
Hi, my name is Kate Miller and I’m founder of Kate Keir VA Solutions. Welcome to my website!
I’d love to tell you a little about me and who I am. I'm a graduate of Leeds University, class of 2011 with a Master's Degree in Performance, Culture and Context. I have always loved Drama and the theatre, so I thought I’d study a subject I loved and enjoyed at the Degree level. Not long after graduation, I joined a document management company, and this is where my professional journey started in Account Management and over the past decade across several industries, from NHS, financial services, and asset management.
I decided to start my business journey after I was made redundant, not long after the birth of my first child. I have always wanted to create an honest business where the customer is at the heart of all we provide, a business that I would want to apply for if I were searching through the job boards. There are many priorities when getting to know your business:
• your brand
• your values
• your ethos
• your challenges
• your processes
• your goals
• your business strategy
I aim to provide you with great customer service and to give you hours back to get on with what you need to do to grow your business. No matter what size of organisation you are there will be times when you need administrative and customer service help but don’t want to employ someone directly. That’s where I can help solve your problem!
I have lived in West Yorkshire for the past ten years, yet I was born and raised in the beautiful town of Harrogate in North Yorkshire. I've decided to work remotely, therefore, I can support your company wherever you are based Globally.
On a final note, one aspect that makes me unique from many others is that I’m Dyslexic. I think differently from others, I process things differently, and I may do things differently but this isn’t a bad thing. I’m blessed to have parents that spotted my traits at a young age and supported me in private classes for over a decade. Therefore, I have decided to donate a percentage of my earnings to the British Dyslexia Action to carry on the great work and support other people.
